Little Lamb One Size Nappy -V2

Little Lamb One-Size Pocket nappies are a firm favourite at FYP- with their stretchy knit cover, 2 absorbent bamboo inserts and super soft inner stay-dry lining.
The pocket on the inside of the nappy lets you slide in the absorbent bamboo boosters prior to fitting onto baby. Pocket nappies were developed from the all-in-one style - where the layered absorber was sewn inside - but they took an age to dry. So with the Little Lamb V2, you get the best of both worlds- super absorbent bamboo fibre, but with a faster drying design.

Each One-Size pocket nappy comes complete with two of their famous bamboo boosters. As there are no bulky seams on the booster they dry faster than the equivilent made from cotton.

The soft lining that sits next to baby’s skin is a super-soft microfleece that draws away moisture to the bamboo boosters, protecting your baby’s skin.

With pocket nappies the most important thing is to get the boosting right for your baby's need, a light wetter may only need one booster, most will need two and possible three for overnight.

The elastic is super-soft to prevent chaffing baby's delicate skin and we have gone to great lengths to find an American-made elastic that with proper laundry care will last and last.

Little Lamb One-Size nappies feature a higher rise than some other nappies, making them great for taller babies.

Features

  • pocket design, making them quick drying
  • 2 bamboo boosters included
  • inner soft stay-dry lining
  • high rise, making them great for tall babies

What Else Do I Need?

What else will I need?

Fitted Nappy: Choose between the Little Lamb Cotton, Microfibre or the popular Bamboo nappy

Liners: You may choose to use disposable liners inside your nappies to help with the removal of solids, however these are optional and are not essential.

Nappy Bucket or Hanging Pail: Any lidded bucket or hanging pail can be used to store your wet nappies. There is no need for soaking, they can be thrown into the empty bucket or bag ready for wash day. If using a bucket, mesh bags or pail liners can be used to make transferral of your nappies from the bucket to the machine really easy.

Wet Nappy Bag: This is a waterproof bag to be kept in your changing bag that can be used to store your wet nappies when you are out and about. We recommend the Alva Wet & Dry bag.

Boosters: These are optional and may be used if your child is a heavy wetter, or for night-time boosting. Our fabulous range of nappy boosters can be seen here.

Lovely little nappy

Got one of these for my tiny taughter at about 3 months old. She's now 17m old (Only 8kg, very skinny!) And we still use this one a lot. She's always had leg gaps (With every pocket we've owned!) But the inserts have been wonderful and absorbant. She's a heavy drinker and a heavy wetter but she'll still get a good solid 2hrs out of this at least, every time. Which is pretty on-par with some of our heavier duty set ups that include hemp. 🤷‍♀️ We found ours looked pilly inside after a couple of washes but it never actually pulled properly. We've used this a lot over a long time and everything has held up nicely. Whilst it doesn't look brand new it still looks pretty close! And we wash on 60°c due to having 2 in cloth, so we expect more damage to ours than we've ever got with this! Certainly reccomend.

One of my favourite nappies

I have 4 of these nappies plus loads of the extra inserts/boosters. I trust these nappies more when out and about as they are much more absorbant than my other brands and can easily last 3 hours without wee leaks. I can get a really good fit on my skinny 5 month old. They don’t hold the poop explosions as well as double gusset nappies but are really good value for money and I would definitely recommend them. The colours are bright and cheerful and I always find myself reaching for these ahead of my other nappies.

Super soft but don't trust not to leak

Little lamb one size nappies feel lovely inside and out but we have had many leaks. However, I am finding that with the addition of another booster from an alternative brand it is more reliable and as my boy has grown, the fit around the legs has improved massively so we are getting fewer leaks. I think I would buy more given the improvement as he's grown and how soft and comfy they feel.

The leakiest brand we own, but still a decent brand

Find that this brand tends to leak everytime at the moment, but baby is less than 4 weeks old, so maybe when she's bigger that'll clear up. Haven't had any leaks really doing the exact same with other brands.
However, love Little Lambs softness and that they come with bamboo inserts - very environmentally conscious!

best pocket nappy

This is by far my favourite pocket nappy. It is very soft and it is not too wide between the legs. You can add as many boosters as you want. I usually put one hemp and one bamboo and it's enough for a few hours. It fit my baby when he was tiny and it fits him now when his a bit more chubby. I will definitely buy more since the price is amazing too. And it is made in Turkey...not China, so it's more sustainable.

not great fit

It doesn't really fit and the snaps are quite ugly... the middle of them are quite uneven, doesn't look like a quality nappy at all.

A great nappy

I bought this as a single nappy in the purple colour to try it out before buying more. I then went on to buy lots more in different plain colours and several lovely patterned ones. I have used them a lot with no leaks. And that's with the two inserts they come with - no boosting required for day time use, for us. I agree with another reviewer about the poppers feel a little bit vulnerable: when you undo them you do feel like they might one day break. But that hasn't stopped me enjoying buying many more and I'm happy to have lots of these in my nappy stash! They dry very quickly, the colours hold and stay bright even after several washes and it's good that they come with two inserts. The inside of the nappies are very soft and the number of poppers means you can get a good 'personalised' fit to suit your own child. These are great value fun practical nappies that are a pleasure to use and easy to buy, hence why I can't stop myself getting more in different colours and designs! Whoops.
