Little Lamb Bamboo Nappies
These nappies are made from super absorbent and super soft bamboo fibres, with some clever technology which means that the nappies stay softer, and dry quicker than any other bamboo nappy we have come across...
Little Lamb were the first to discover that bamboo was one of the most absorbent fibres to use, but when woven and made into nappies they found that it does have a tendancy to shrink. They searched far and wide and found a factory that would knit the fibre into their fabric,thus creating a non-shrink, non-pull bamboo nappy. You see, by using a fine microfibre for the inside of the nappy (where baby sits) it allows moisture to be drawn away from the skin.
This also allows for the nappy to “spin out” in the washing machine as many bamboo nappies will take an age to dry. They added a double layer of bamboo booster that is loose in the size 1 nappies and sewn into the size 2’s. This is to prevent the nappy becoming too bulky for tiny babie’s. It also ensures that the
nappy remains as slim as possible giving your baby total freedom no matter if he is newborn and just wriggling in your arms or toddling across the room!
Easy to use, easy to wash, easy to dry and easy to buy.
Caring for this nappy is simple. Always use the dry bucket system (this means no soaking, no bleaching- just pop any poo down the loo then fold over the Velcro onto the laundry tabs and pop it into the bucket with the lid on to prevent any pong) then when you have a days worth of nappies (or two if you have enough), chuck it all into the washing machine with half a scoop of powder. When your machine has done all the hard work for you dry the nappies either on the line or in the dryer.

What else will I need?
Waterproof Cover: These nappies require a separate waterproof cover. We can recommend the Little Lamb Nappy Cover. Unlike the nappy however, these will only need changing when damp or soiled so you should only need a few covers in total.
Liners: You may choose to use disposable liners inside your nappies to help with the removal of solids, however these are optional and are not essential.
Nappy Bucket or Hanging Pail: Any lidded bucket or hanging pail can be used to store your wet nappies. There is no need for soaking, they can be thrown into the empty bucket or bag ready for wash day. If using a bucket, mesh bags or pail liners can be used to make transferral of your nappies from the bucket to the machine really easy.>
Wet Nappy Bag: This is a waterproof bag to be kept in your changing bag that can be used to store your wet nappies when you are out and about. We recommend the Alva Wet & Dry bag.
Boosters: These are optional and may be used if your child is a heavy wetter, or for night-time boosting. Our fabulous range of nappy boosters can be seen here.

We tried this nappy as part of the Try Cloth for £10 trial. It is very soft and highly absorbent - great as a night nappy. With disposables I was normally changing my daughter’s nappy somewhere between 2-4am each night, to avoid leakage. This nappy takes us straight through till morning! Really pleased with it. It does take about 48hours to dry after washing, but that always seems to be the trade-off if you want a really absorbent nappy. I’ve already bought more, and some Little Lamb pockets nappies to try too.

Both my husband and I really loved these nappies when we tried them in our cloth trial. They seem so soft and comfortable, were an excellent fit, and are very absorbant. They do take a bit longer to dry than some of the one size nappies we tried but this is worth it for the extra absorbency. We will be ordering some of these to use at night time.

I really like these nappies for my little boy at night time, he's never had a leak and he's a heavy wetter. My little boy is quite long, and I don't see size 1 fitting him for much longer (he is about 15lb). Just ordered size 2 and have not used them as yet so cannot comment on the fit of size 2

I received this nappy as part of the try cloth for £10 pack and absolutely love it!
It is soft and super absorbent, at night I boost it with a bamboo booster between the nappy and the wrap and it lasts 12 hours.
The only thing I would say it that with there being three sizes you may end up spending much more money as your baby grows. My 16lb 10 week old certainly won’t fit in the Size 1 much longer.

Love these nappies, they are so absorbant and get us through 12 hours at night. Combined with the little lamb wrap (Or even an alva) They are brilliant. Deffo worth the money

Very absorbent came with booster and fleece inserts which was good. However I don’t think the size 1 will fit my boy until 20lbs as already snug at 13lbs

I’ve never ordered little lambs before and because they are cheap I wasn’t expecting the quality to be as high as it is, beautifully made and so buttery soft!! They come with a fleece insert and a booster which is perfect because I don’t need to faff around and order extras of things to go inside they do recommend you boost again for night time but I’m not going to as the wraps are bomb proof. Super pleased and I can’t wait to try these.

These are lovely and soft and really absorbant. I thought they'd be too bulky on my 17 month old but they're actually slimmer than our boosted Easyfit stars. Have stopped her nappy rash too. Great.
