I'm not kidding when I say I HATE all of BambinoMio's nappies. I usually find quality awful and they're not at all sturdy. Which is why I don't understand how such awful nappy-makers can create such amazing changing mats!
I don't like traditional mats because you put them on all sorts of surfaces and they get covered in germs, but you can't ever get them properly clean since they're wipe-baby-side only. THE HORROR! You then put this BACK INSIDE your nappy bag every time without ever taking off those germs, contaminating everything you have in there. 😱🤢 Enter cloth mats. Where you can put the whole thing in with your laundry at the end of a day. We loved our first Mio cloth mat so much (Now over 1.5yrs old, brought when expecting baby #2) that we brought another now that baby#3 is around the corner so I can wash my hospital mat entirely right when I get home (Absolute must in the pandemic!).

Mio mats are super soft, have never pilled or hardened, newborn poop never runs off all over the place or up baby's back like with a plastic mat, the velcro is still like new on our original, the patterns are adorable and the whole thing folds up nice and small and neat for easy storage. We currently keep one on the bathroom floor since it is super cold - This is never a nasty chill for my kids because it's soft cloth not harsh plastic! We're tempted to buy a 3rd so we've always got 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the nappy bag and 1 ready on standby for if one of the others needs a wash. The price is really good since most cloth mats are very very expensive, too.

I have a couple of these as I have a long day and short trip changing bags and they are really handy to just chuck down if changing out and about or on top of those plastic changers in most changing rooms and they do seem pretty comfy. On the downside though they seem to pick up bits of fluff etc fairly easily and are almost as bulky as an extra nappy in the bag which can be a pain if short on space.

A fab changing mat - it is super soft, absorbent and easy to pack away and store. The only downside is that it is a little chunky in the bag so can take up a little more space than other mats but it's worth it.

Very soft with a pretty outside design, absorbent, folds away compactly. Bought as I wanted a prettier mat to replace Scottish baby box mat with for usual use, but unfortunately find this now my second opinion as the soft white side seems to attract 'bits', as opposed to the baby box mat which has a smooth surface you can easily brush/knock off any dust/fluff etc.

Great changing mat. Has a soft fleecy side for changing baby on. Compact so can easily fit in changing bag and really easy to wash. I now have a couple of these and they are definitely my favourite changing mats
