Charcoal Nappy Inserts
We are now stocking super absorbent charcoal inserts from Alvababy due to popular demand.
Consisting of 4 layers in total- 2 layers of charcoal bamboo and 2 layers of fast absorbing microfibre.
These inserts are popular not just for their superior absorbency but also due to their anti-bacterial properties, and they are great for absorbing any smells.

I prefer Alva bamboo insert but this dries quick which is a key sometimes.

We use ALVA nappies with the charcoal nappy inserts and they last all night, which is great. The nappy weighs a tonne in the morning, we went about 11 hours with no leak overnight.
We have other inserts as well but these are so much better! they seem to absorb a lot of liquid and they air-dry over night.

I tried a mixture of different inserts from a few brands, these feel dryer for much longer and they also feel softer. I've found that the way that works for us is to use the inserts just popped into the nappy, not inserted into the nappy pocket. With these inserts used that way we can just swap it out for another insert instead of changing the whole nappy. obviously doesnt work with newborn poos but I'm only changing the whole nappy 2 or 3 times a day at the moment.

Fit beautifully into our Alva nappies! Very absorbable, they hardly feel wet after being on for a couple of hours. Really happy, will be adding more to our stash!

I use these at night to add extra absorbency to the bambino mio miosolo. No leaks and last all night also quick drying. These are the best inserts I've found so far

These are fast drying inserts and fit well in the wraps that I have, but they don't seem to be any more absorbent than other brands and don't have a stay dry layer so a fleece liner is a must. I only bought one to try and am mostly using it as a booster now rather than a top layer.
