Upsey Daisy Washable Bedwetting Boxer Shorts

The Upsey Daisy washable bedwetting pants & shorts are the only product stocked that we recommend for bedwetting with older/larger children.

These fully washable pants feature a large absorbent pad sewn into an "inner pant". The inner area is fully waterproof backed and is designed to accept booster pads (washable or disposable) if required.

The "inner pant" is designed to form a bucket into which the urine can flow and be absorbed by the washable padding.

The outer part of the pants has a waterproof lining as well, to cope with any leaks and dribbles that may come out of the sides through the leg holes.

On the sides of the outer pants there are additional absorbent padded areas to make the pants super secure.

  • Will hold up to 500ml without the additional booster pad
  • Will need changing once wet

Currently stocked in 3 sizes (should you require larger sizes please contact us)

These Shorts took 3 days to air dry
Wednesday, 31 October 2018  |

I was very disappointed with these pants and the false advertising on the description.

I bought these bedwetter pants for my two boys who aren't yet dry at night. I was pleased with the fast delivery and turnaround time and was pleased to have found a product that would finally enable me to start moving away from disposable nappies and onto a more environmentally friendly option. I understood from the website that you couldn't tumble dry them, but only air dry. This didn't trouble me, as our house is warm and air drying for most items doesn't take more than 24hrs in our home.

When they arrived I tried them on my boys and despite being a little bulky they fitted. I then followed the instructions to wash before use. I washed them and put them out to dry in our house, following instructions of pulling the inner part out and allowing more airflow. I then went back to check several times (a few hours later, the next morning, the following evening) and they were still as wet as they were when they came out of the washing machine around 3pm on the day they were first washed. By the evening of the following day, there was still no sign of them drying. They weren't completely dry until 3 days after they were washed.

I bought them two each in the hope that I could put a wash on every 2nd day and have them on rotate. It was NOT clear on the website how long these pants take to dry.

The advisor on the phone said that we could put them on a radiator to dry or a heater. I explained that this defeated the object of why I bought them in the first place - to be more environmentally friendly. Whacking the heating on for 30 minutes to let a pair of pants dry is the exact opposite.

My boys have not yet worn them and they have been through the wash once as per instructions. Fill your pants refused to take the pants back and provide me with a refund.

I believe without a clear description on the website of just how long these pants take to dry that it is not advertised correctly and I feel I have wasted 60 on reusable shorts I can't actually use as they take so long to dry!

Not a happy customer.
