These are our regular reusables. We have found them to be simple to use (even the nursery likes them for this), they are better at containing leaks than disposables, plus they wash and dry easily.

On the down side, we don't find them absorbent enough for night time use (we use Tots Bots Bamboozle) and they are a little bulky.

I can see this has some good reviews but from the trial pack that we had, this was our least favourite. It seems very bulky compared to the others, and I find the stuffing fiddly. Wouldn't order more of these

My wife decided to do cloth nappies with our daughter and bought Bumgenius v4. I was unsure at first but after a few weeks, I am pleased to say I am very impressed with them. They hold a massive amount but our little girl's bum stays dry and no rashes! Only downside is that they can look quite bulky on her (She's 6 weeks) and clothing does not fit well over them so we have to use the next size up.

After purchasing a whole set of these, after 8 months they are useless to us because the velcro no longer sticks. The manufacturer warranty is useless because they are just saying that its as care issue. Surely nappies are meant to be washed repeatedly though and I have followed instructions. Looking online, I can see Im not the only one who has this problem with the bumgenius nappies, and the quality in my opinion seems very poor. I wouldnt recommend theis brand to anyone and have since purchased a different brand with the poppered tabs instead which are much better.

I love these nappies. I'm now one week in and have only had one leek. My baby boy has skinny legs and other pocket nappies have given us issues in this department. I love them. The only slight downside is the bright colours outers have slightly coloured the white inner bits in the wash, but this isn't a big problem for me.

These nappies are fab! They dry quickly, fit well, super absorbent when boosted. The only nappy I would safely use for all occasions (daytime, out & about & night time) I like using different types of nappies but if I was FORCED to stick with one type this would be it!

These nappies were recommended to me by one of my baby friends as was keen to swap from disposable to cloth. Im a bit of a late starter as my little boy is now 6mths. Love how easy these are to use, fit really well, and have not had any leaks! (bonus as we have had so many leaks with disposable). And I love how comfy he looks in them! All soft on his bottom

Before our son was born, we nbought a bumper pack of flips and bought a trial pack with the bumgenius 4.0, a flip and a totsbots easyfit v2 inside. Baby is now 14 weeks old so we've been using all of our nappies for 12 weeks (wanted to use up all of the dispoables we'd been given and let his poos settle into a sort of routine first). We've found that the flips and the bumgenius are our favourites to use. I love giving the bumgenius to babysitters to put on him as they are just as easy to use as disposables. The totsbots nappies we have all leak around the legholes so I really am impressed with the bumgenius and the flips. If I were to buy anymore, it'd be flips or bumgenius for ease of use. Both are pretty much the same, drying time is quick and I've had no leaks at all.

I use both the liners that come with the bum genius and we have yet to have a leak. My son is 5 months old and some days has huge wees and other days not so much so I just put both in to be on the safe side!
They look really comfortable too and they arent that bulky at all

I was so determined to use cloth nappies....and I'm not disappointed, these are excellent.

I have never had a leak - wee or pooplosions - where I had so many in disposables. My boy is now 6 months and I have been using these since he was 6 weeks old. He's never had nappy rash in them and seems completely happy. Yes they are a little more bulky but I think it's worth it. If you are thinking about using cloth you absolutely MUST!! It is so easy - especially with the aplix - like disposables...even grandparents are happy using them - and after all they were using terry nappies when I was little!

So happy I am saving money and the environment too!!

My daughter doesn't seem to get on well with disposables not matter how often we change her. So we gave BumGenius One-Size 4.0 with Aplix a go.

She is a chubby 10 month old and we have the nappy on full, not poppered down. It has dealt with everything she has thrown at it, including some horrific poonamis/poosplosions. She is an olympic widdler and they keep her dry for 3-4 hours. We haven't tried her any longer.

Nice and easy to wash and they dry quickly without a tumble-dryer, although if I'm putting it on anyway, I throw the inserts in with the clothes that need drying.

All in all, very pleased with them. Not sure how long the Aplix will last, but certainly has made it very easy for a complete novice like me.

I have been using these for over 9 months now on my now 13 month old daughter. I find them the most reliable nappy out there for her. Fit great, quality is great, price is worth it. I recently purchased the more boyish colours (moonbeam and ribbit) and these do suit girls too, look lovely under co-ordinating dresses! Oh and the snaps do last longer than the velco, I would always choose the snap version.

We bought a variety of nappies to try out on our newborn. 5 months in and we are declaring these the winners! They are so reliable on my tall, skinny son - we've never had a leak (even though he produces some explosive bf poonamis!)

My husband now reaches for these every time and will actively go searching round the house for one if he is taking our son out on his own. We have some of both the solid colours and the artist series and can't wait to see what the next artist series will be like. In the meantime I'm off to buy some more solid colours as my hubby has 'retired' some of our other nappies that aren't reliable.

Our son is a champion wee'r who sleeps 12hrs at night and we are even able to use these nappies at night boosted with a hemp booster. Really can't fault them.

These are my favourite everyday nappy, so simple to use, wash and dry brilliantly, and very rarely leak.
They are the only birth to potty nappy I've tried that fit my 7 week old daughter, who's quite tall and skinny, and don't completely swamp her.
I really like the simplicity of the design, and are much more reliable than some of the prettier makes.

My baby has incredibly chubby thighs and though these could do with a bit more spacious around the thighs they are a better fit than a lot of the other nappies we've tried. They're also good at containing wetness. I'm just a bit disappointed at the lack of cute prints. I hate the 'artist' range and just plain colours is very boring. Bring out some cuties and some minkees BG!

These seem to be quite good nappies, but I do find them to be a bit bulky. Am much prefering the Smartipants ones because they are much slimmer. I also dont like that you need to pull the insert out of these ones which you dont with the Smartipants. I did forget once with these and the insert got all bunched up inside the nappy and not cleaned properly. But like that they come with 2 inserts (although the small one isnt that useful because its so thin) and like the stretchy tabs on the front too.

I've been trialling these nappies on my 20 month old in preparation for our new babies arrival and I love them. I use both the inserts as he's a heavy wetter but they still fit well and keep him dry. I will definitely buy more x

I've been using the Bumgenius v3s for over 6 months now, and bought a few Bumgenius v4s (with poppers) to see whether or not they matched in terms of leak control and overall quality of fit.

The v4s appear to have a superior leg gusset which seems to help keep moisture in the nappy even as my chunky monkey runs all over the place. The inner feels softer and nicer on the skin, although I'm not sure if this is just the "newness" of the nappy. The poppers were quite stiff for the first few uses but hold the nappy in place well.

Overall I'm pleased & would definitely buy more in the future.

Just fantastic - reliable, smart, fairly trim, easy to use and care for. Use these overnight with bamboo inserts. Only improvement that could be made would be the option to buy with bamboo or hemp instead of microfibre.

I have twin girls, and these are the best nappies I have found! They may not be as exciting as the ones with prints, but they do their job. Even my Hubby likes them! My girls don't do well in disposables, and have leaked in all the other nappies we have tried, so these are a delight to use!

BG is the firm favorite in our house, even my hubby thinks there great. They leave my babies skin dry and ive had no leaks or wicking, i used them day and night and they see my 2 year ols who is a heavy wetter through 12-14 hours at night with 2 inserts. Also my little boy whos 6 months can have them on for a long period and no problems, cant wait for prints.

As a first time Dad I was slightly apprehensive when my wife told me that we would be using resuable nappies, in fact I was totally against it. However, after nearly 6 months of using cloth I am converted. Bumgenius are by far my favourite, they are so easy to use and keep my son dry as a bone and totally rash free, in the early days we used sposies but he got terrible nappy rash and since we made the switch his bum has been 100% clear. Plus they will apparently save me money in the long term which is a good thing. I have even recommended bumgenius to friend's whose wives are expecting!

I've used a selection of reusables including Motherease and Totsbots and these are the best by far. Much less bulky, incredibly fast drying - overnight even on damp days when nothing else dries. Lovely colours too.

I was given a bumgenius by a friend for my 6mth old daughter. I love how easy they are compared to her flat terries. Washing, drying, (I tumble and line dry them) they would be 5 stars. Can't remember a 'blowout' either, even on weaning poo! I just find them a little bit expensive hence four stars. B5GOF is a good way of helping with this.

I have used the V3 since my little girl was 3 days old. We have had no issues with nappy rash or leakages with these reusables as they fit so well (better than disposables on the rare occasion we have used them!!). Also makes my husband want to change nappies as we bought a variety of colours to keep him entertained! Easy to use out and about too because you can just pre-stuff and line. Very surprised by drying speed too - much better than the tots botsand minky I got from the real nappy network on trial. Highly recommended and just ordered another few so we can use when away for the weekend.

I've never used reusable nappies before and have been seriously thinking about it for a while, my little darling is 8 months old and I ordered a few BG's to see if they worked and how I would feel using reusables. Both me and my hubby are well impressed, because we only bought a few we've used them only a couple of times but have had no leeks. They are great to use, although you do need to change your mind set: don't throw them in the bin!! and of course be mindful of how you treat them i.e washing correctly close taps don't use too much detergent etc but to be honest I find this no bother. The few I've bought have washed and dried well and i'm going to buy the starter kit!! I wish I bought these nappies sooner but I'll keep them for our next little bundle ))

I really like these nappies because I can pre stuff them and they are as easy to use as disposables. I used them from when my daughter was 1 week old and they didn't seem bulky at all. Mind you, she was 3710g at birth and over 5kg at 4 weeks!
My daughter wees a lot so the newborn insert wasn't really enough for her. I now have a system of using either two newborn inserts or one normal insert and that is fine - no leakages. I bought the nappy plus kit and am washing daily at the moment but we have got a lot of changes because I'm still on antibiotics which makes her poo a lot. Amazing how quickly the nappies dry indoors as well.

I have tried the version 2, but this is much better. The colours are brighter, the tabs better and it dries really quick. Great for those of us without driers. A brilliant night nappy. Even when the inserts are soaked, baby still stays dry.

Considering the amount of money you spend on nappies in your babies first few years we considered buying and hence opted for the bumgenius reusable nappies, which have indeed been the best buy (along with a rocking swing) we have bought. We began using them when our daughter was 2 months old (they are slightly too big to use on a younger baby as they are quite bulky to begin with and the fit depends on the weight of your child) and have now got ourselves into a lovely routine where by they are washed every night after use so that we never fall short (highly recommended) We have chosen to use them purely for at home use at the moment as it is more practical to throw away a disposable while you are out. But unless you lead a very busy lifestyle and are always out then they are clearly a much better option. The nappies hold ALOT and therefore can go longer without a nappy change. There is not that constant worry that the nappy has leaked! The extra insert comes in especially handy at nighttime as the nappy can last for atleast 10 hours in the night without a change, and due to the incredible and vast colour selections available, you can have a set colour always prepared as night time nappies, so you don't have to faff around filling themwith the extra insert. If all nappies are prepared when the washing and drying is done then it is also alot easier when it comes to putting them on.A handy nappy bucket avoids all those horrible nappy smells lurking around the house. The downsides to these nappies are that they are quite bulky to use at the beginging so are no good for newborns and therefore there is a wait to use them (saying that...who wants to mess around with reuseable nappies when just given birth-once your recovered and in a routine the nappies fit snuggly into the routine also). I have noticed that if the nappies are very full then the lable itself will become wet as this is the first thing to show signs the nappy is about to leak. Finally it may be an expensive outlay but it is deinetly worth while, cleverly designed reusable nappy!!

These nappies are easy for all the family to use, in particular the hubby o) They look good on and are great because they grow with your child. Some people do look at you a bit weird when you say you are using reusable nappies but I know they are easy and a lot better for the environment.
