Close Pop-In + Bamboo Nappy

close nappies

The Bamboo Pop-In Nappy is one of the best 'all in two' and super absorbent nappies available on the market

These components make the Pop-In nappy extremely customisable in terms of absorbency, and can be used for both day and night time use with great results. Bamboo fibre is highly absorbent, although the down side of this is that is does take a while to dry, so if you do not have a tumble drier, you might be better off with something quicker drying.

As with a one-size pocket nappy, the Pop-In is designed to fit from birth to potty training and the New Generation Pop In has 4 rows of poppers down the front rise which allow you to adjust it as your baby grows. This provides you with a fantastically economical option!

Teamed with the Nighttime booster inside, you dont get much thirstier that this nappy! Highly recommended for night use.

One-Size: To fit from 8-35lbs approx.

We have been testing these New Generation Pop-In nappies for a while now, and they really have seen some fantastic improvements from the last version! The exterior washes and wears much better, the fit is more generous and the new stylish colour combinations are a real winner!

Each New Generation Pop-In nappy comes complete with the waterproof outer shell, a bamboo soaker and a top bamboo booster.

What else willI need?

Liners: You may choose to use disposable liners inside your nappies to help with the removal of solids, however these are optional and are not essential.

Nappy Bucket or Hanging Pail: Any lidded bucket or hanging pail can be used to store your wet nappies. There is no need for soaking, they can be thrown into the empty bucket or bag ready for wash day. If using a bucket, mesh bags or pail liners can be used to make transferral of your nappies from the bucket to the machine really easy.

Wet Nappy Bag: This is a waterproof bag to be kept in your changing bag that can be used to store your wet nappies when you are out and about. We recommend the Smart Tote

Boosters: These are optional and may be used if your child is a heavy wetter, or for night-time boosting. Our fabulous range of nappy boosters can be seen here

I think the Pop-In Gen 2 nappies are brilliant. They are well made, the soaker and boosters go in and out easily and give you options for how to set them up. The double gusset around the legs are great for stopping leaks, along with the gusset on the insert itself. Velcro works well to give a great fit. Not too bulky. The colours and patterned versions all look lovely. Bamboo inserts are a little slower to dry, and the laundry tabs seem fiddly at first but you soon get the hang of them (and I like that you can tuck them away from baby's skin). Highly recommended!

Best I've used!

Love these nappies, so easy to use. Lovely soft bamboo, very absorbent, super comfy on my one year old, might be a bit bulky on a newborn though. Only regret not having bought these from the start!

A really reliable nappy!
Easy to use, great fitting and have never had a leak, even with babywearing all day. My only wish is that they'd do a poppered version. But this works so so well!

So much better than the originals.

I had a few pop in nappies for my daughter and the fit was great but it always irritated me that the Velcro dreck to everything in the wash. I was replacing some worn out nappies for my new baby and saw the new and improved version so decided to invest. The bamboo is really soft and absorbent, the fit is great and the new laundry tabs are so much better! But be waned they do take a while to dry.

Love the design and fits around the legs really well. My baby slept well in this nappy. Lovely grape purple colour. Want to get more inserts now!

Thumbs down

It was very bunched up, the elastic was too tight, my toddler refused to wear it as it was too uncomfortable. Very disappointing.

Leak..leak...and more leak
Saturday, 7 June 2014  |

I've tried these nappies since my son is 2 mont old. Now he is 6 month. From the beginning we had leaks. Mostly at the velcro snaps on the sides. It can't even take sometimes 2 hours, and he is wet until neck.
I've been communicating, asking extra advice from close parent, but with all their suggestion it just doesn't work.
Would never buy it again

These are our 'go to' reliable all rounder nappy.

They are on the bulky side and can take a bit of work to get a good fit as they are quite 'stiff' but once they are on they're excellent!

Asborbancy wise they are brilliant even on heavy wetters and the double gusseted legs stop leakage and fit comfortably.

The back waistband can leave slight red marks because it's quite stiff and bulky but doesn't cause discomfort and baby can sit up in them happily. Haven't tried them for nights as we favour fitteds so haven't needed to but definitely would need extra boosting for our 6 month old if we did!

The inners (bamboo) snap in/out easily and dry resonably quickly on the line and in the dryer and keep their soft feel. The outer shell is slow drying due to the absorbant core, but worth the wait in our opinion!

Would recommend these for reliability and they look very cute too!
