Brand:  Breastvest

Breastvest | Nursing Top

The Breastvest is the revolutionary nursing accessory, designed to be used in addition to your nursing bra and all of your regular clothing.

The Breastvest provides a comfortable layer of support and coverage for your postnatal tummy. It is shaped to sit comfortably just underneath your nursing bra and is held in place by adjustable shoulder straps.

Invented, tested and approved by breastfeeding mums (indeed I was one of the first testers of the Breastvest way back yonder), this nursing vest has become a favourite breastfeeding accessory with mothers the world over.

Breastvest covers your postnatal tummy generously and discreetly, allowing you to wear all of your normal clothes while feeding your baby, without the need to spend a fortune on nursing tops. Simply unhook your nursing bra, and lift your top up... dont worry about exposing your tummy, breastvest has got you covered.

Even during pregnancy Breastvest is a real gem- for those times when your tops are just that bit too short, or ride up over your belly, the Breastvest keeps you and your bump covered up neatly.

Available in black and white, breastvest is available in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL. Please see Sizing Tab above for sizing guide.

Breastvest is made from 95% viscose and 5% elastane. Machine washable.

How to use your Breastvest

Step 1: unhook your nursing bra

Step 2: lift up your top - breastvest will stay in place and keep your tummy covered

Step 3: latch on your baby and enjoy the confidence which goes hand in hand with wearing breastvest.

Breastvest Sizing

UK 8-10 10-12 12-14 14-16 16-18
EUR 36 38 40 42 44

Through great design and clever fabrics, your breastvest will stretch comfortably to fit you during your third trimester and through your changing shape while breastfeeding for months after your baby arrives. It will stretch back into shape easily through washing so we recommend that you order your pre-pregnancy size.

Genius wardrobe item

Breastfeeding in public can take a little getting used to, in my opinion, not least because the risk of exposing my stomach to all and sundry is not something I relish.
Being able to wear this vest with just a clip-side nursing bra under clothing, instead of a nursing vest too, means less fussing and faffing, which in turn means you can smoothly get on with feeding baby confidently and not have to unclip 2 different garments.
I'm so pleased I bought this.

Good idea but...

... For some reason the straps fall down a lot which is pretty irritating, even after tightening. Overall a good product and at a good price, but the strap issue is annoying.

Very useful

Simple design keeps your stomach covered. Combined with a nursing bra means I can still wear all my old clothes, especially T-shirts, without baring flesh.

My daughter was born last autumn and I spent the whole winter feeling cold when I had to feed her away from home.

I saw Breastvest and ordered one to see if it would solve my problems next autumn&winter. It arrived today and after trying it on I am sure I will order more!

Good idea

Really liked the idea of this but in practice found it not so great. Used occasionally. Nice for a change of pace but sometimes I forgot I was wearing it and thus didn't put it to good use. Might need 6 or more to get real value from the design, but the cost adding up doesn't seem justified.

Good solution!

This is a great idea and means I can wear my normal tops. It's not quite the same as having a nursing top with the slits in, but my normal top is over the baby's head and so does cover things up.
