I join the choir of praise for this bum wiping kit! Now when my son is older and into fewer nappy changes than before I actually dry my wipes after washing and fill the box with only water and the essential oil without popping the wipes in. I find the water stays fresh for a day or two longer and this way I don't have to rewash unused wipes and save on the essential oil. /Enviro mom

Just received my set and used for the first time. The first thing that I would point out is that the set is so much more than just a set of cloths and a posh container (what I thought when ordering). So much thought had been put into this product right from the design for everyday use down to how they are packaged and delivered. Points that impressed me:
1. The whole set comes contained within the mucky container (the bigger of the two) like a set of russian dolls, the smaller container inside and within that all the wipes and other stuff. Very Eco friendly as not separate packaging needed.
2. The containers themselves (a fresh and mucky container) are both ingeniously designed with a spring action click lid meaning that they can be opened single handedly. Both containers have fill lines to make it easy to measure the correct amount of fluid for each. The mucky container has clips inside which marry up with the drawstring of the mucky bag to suspend the bag open in the container. The bag can then be easily removed and thrown in the wash without having to come into contact with the mucky wipes.
3. The waterproof bags to take wipes out on the go. The fresh bag is a simple little bag to hold wipes. The mucky bag is a stroke of genius with it's integral wash bag that zips inside meaning you get the same functionality from a nifty little bag as you do the full size mucky container.
4. Essential Oils do make a nice touch meaning the two containers stay smelling perfectly fresh. The are also much kinder to baby's skin than the fragrenced disposable wipes.
5. Everything is neatly colour coded. Blue for fresh and green for mucky.
6. Size of the wipes is perfect (about the size of a man's palm)

So much thought has been put into this product that it is definitely worth every penny.

I wish I'd found out about these earlier, they are just FAB!

I only need a maximum of two wipes to clean up even the most forceful of poo-namis, unlike half a dozen or more of the disposable ones.

I don't use the 'mucky' part of the kit at all since I use cloth nappies - I just chuck the used wipes straight in the nappy bucket or wet bag - apart from the essential oil blend. It completely covers the smell of those stinky nappies!

I got a set when my son was a couple of weeks old and I can honestly say that I have never seen such an innovative thing in my life. They have so many positives about them: -

1. Where disposables tend to smear poo around when cleaning up - sometimes I only need to use one cheeky wipe!!! At most I've used 3 and that's only when baby's poo'd mid bum change! Even hubby has only ever used 3 in one go (and he's a clean freak!)
2. Easy to wash - just bung 'em in with your normal washload
3. Easy to prepare - no need to dry; just take them out of the machine, stick a few drops of oil in the pot (1 drop to 5 wipes) and fill up to the level in the pot, sticking your wipes in and away you go!
4. They save you on average £200 from birth to potty
5. Nothing goes into landfill so better for the environment, and even though people say the carbon footprint is bigger because of the extra washing - they actually go into your normal wash and don't cause anymore washing - especially if you have more than 1 set! When wet and bunched up, they probably take up as much space in the machine as a small handtowel I reckon.
6. Easily brightened up if you bung 'em in your white wash - boil wash with a drop of bleach and they come out looking brand new
7. Can pimp them up with dylon fabric dye! So you can have multi-coloured wipes! Totally customisable! And really easy with dylon's washing machine dye...
8. They last for years so actually can end up saving you more than £200 - depends on how many kids you have! We're planning on 2 more kids so actually will end up saving about £600!
9. The whole kit folds away into the mucky pot so are easily transportable for holidays or babysittings at other people's houses.
10. Easy to take out and about - just wring them out before popping them into the clean "out and about" bag and away you go!
11. Customer service for Cheeky Wipes is the best I've EVER experienced! Since redesigning the kit, there've been a few teething problems, but the owner rang me up to talk about it, having already sent out replacements free of charge! Now that is the kind of customer service other companies should pick up on!
12. If you also use cloth nappies, you don't need to use the "mucky" stuff - just leave your used wipes inside your dirty nappy, bung it in your nappy pail and wash as normal!
13. The smell!! I've only used the lavender and chamomile oil and everyone I've shown so far has commented that they love it. Am sure the other smells will be as gorgeous.
14. Kinder to baby's skin than disposables - they are softer and my sensitive baby's skin has never broken out using these, where we did have problems the first two weeks he was born - although that could've been down to the disposable nappies - we didn't isolate what it was, just switched to reusable nappies and wipes and had no more problems.
15. Really soft - and that's just the cotton ones. Everyone I've shown remarks on how soft they are. I haven't tried the bamboo ones, which other reviews have said are softer.

I am so, so impressed with cheeky wipes that I recommend them to everyone I see and actually get them out to give people a sniff and a feel, even when I'm not changing baby! I thoroughly, whole-heartedly recommend cheeky wipes - even if you don't have a baby!

I've had a set of these since my first son was born in 2008 (and they are still going strong) and just loved how great they were. They are soooo much better than disposable wipes for cleaning off poo! My second son has just been born so I've bought a second kit to have upstairs (with the other being downstairs). We also use them for wiping faces & hands. They wash really well and are simply brilliant!

Loved these instantly. They just work so much better than disposable wipes, actually removing poo rather than just smearing it around. Now that I have been using them for about a month or so, I've also noticed how much nicer they are on my children's skin. Have been telling my friends all about them.

Cheeky Wipes are fabulous! I would'nt part with mine and have'nt had to buy disposable wipes for 5 months now! Completely genius and easy to use.
We got the cotton kit, and added some of the bamboo version too. Both versions are excellent, but we do find the bamboo to be that little bit softer. 5 stars from this happy family!

We bought a set at the Baby Show last year - we wanted to use washable nappies and thought this would be a good idea too. And it was! So easy to use, simple to clean, and the boxes are easily transportable for holidays/weeks with the parents, etc. The bags are great for out and about, too.

Wish i had found these sooner, i love them. They wipe away mess rather than smear like normal wipes. smell fab and love the idea you wash then pop back in the tub, no need for drying

At first I looked at this product and thought it looked like a whole lot of trouble and that I would just use packets of wipes as normal. Then after really getting into (and addicted to be honest) my washable nappies I decided to give it a try. Brilliant, the feeling alone of not wasting money week after week on disposable wipes is enough to convince me. These are easy to use and you should definitely not be put off by all the boxes and oils because like washable nappies, once your in you realise how great they are and how you wouldn't go back to wasteful disposables. They pop in the wash with your nappies, no extra trouble. The boxes are great to have at home and the little bags work great for out and about. The cloths are MUCH better at cleaning grubby faces and gently wiping dirty bottoms. Go for it, you won't look back.
