The famous giraffe ‘Sophie’, in 100% natural rubber (phtalate-free), who has been part of babies’ lives for almost 50 years.

I had this teething toy recommended by many so bought it for a present for my son who was 3 months old at the time, it is very cute and distinctive, squeaks but lower pitched so not grating on mummy ears. Easy to hold, wipe clean - do not soak or the squeaker stops working (in instructions it say not to) and certainly one of the nicest looking teethers I have seen. Makes a lovely gift for any new baby/Mum

I remember having a Sophie La Giraffe when I was little! My second daughter has never liked plastic or cold teethers. She would much rather munch on a knotted muslin or Sophie La Giraffe.

I got Sophie for my daughter when she was 4 months old as a Christmas present. She liked holding her and gumming her and would laugh hysterically when she squeaked.

My daughter is now 16 months old and she still plays and chews Sophie. She is currently cutting all 4 of her canines at once and she always seems happier and more settled after a good chew on Sophie's legs, face, bum, anywhere really.

Some teether only have one chewable surface that very young babies find hard to aim for. I like that all the giraffe's surface is chewable. Even though some of the colour is wearing off, I know that it is safe, natural and non-toxic.

As one of the guru's for FYP I brought one to show to parents as a great teether and toy having seen many parents in my local Sling Meet with them and upon its arrival it took my 7mo son about 5 mins to aquire it so I have to take him with me and sophie to show parents how good she is, the hardships of a WHAM

This is a fab toy! None of my children have loved one toy as much as my daughter loves Sophie. She loves to suck and chew on her, feel her and her face lights up when she makes her squeak. And as a bonus, Sophie is super-cute! I would recommend to anybody with a young baby. I'll be after their Chan Pie Gnon and Bathtime Sophie at Christmas!

I wondered about this at first, but now my little one is 4 months old, he can hold it really well, get it into his mouth easily and loves to chew on it. Only problem is when it gets dropped!
